Introduced at the New York Pipe Show in March of 1999, these pipes are finished in the briar's natural color to show off the beauty of the grain. They are friction finished with carnauba wax and are fill free with no carbon lining in the tobacco hole. The Straight Grains are just that, while the Virgin Grains have a more random grain pattern. The briar used is set aside from standard production and the availibility will be determined by the briar itself. The back of the shank is stamped with a 2 digit production year. |
