The Longest Churchwarden

Kaywoodie Collector- This Churchwarden is a total of 18 1/4" in length!! The stem alone is 15", making it a truly unique piece. This pipe was one of several extra-large pipes especially made for Rudolph Hirsch, the first President of Kaywoodie. The briar is nearly perfect straight grain stamped Collector's Kaywoodie on the shank with Imported Briar on the opposite side. The hand-cut rubber stem has the trademark black cloverleaf in a white circle and the drinkless attachment with four holes crossed drilled in the ball. The exact age of this pipe is not known but is estimated as being made in the late-1940's. This length Churchwarden was not available to the general public.
